I have been very busy since my last journal entry!

I scheduled my Coolsculpting procedure at Healthy Solutions Medspa toward the end of January. I have to admit that I was very nervous about having the procedure done– mainly because of the fear of the unknown! Even though they were very thorough about explaining everything to me during the consultation, I was still nervous because I wasn’t sure what to expect.  I forgot that they would need totake “before” pictures so that they could make a comparison after 60 and 90days. .  I had the procedure done on mystomach area, so after spending some time getting pictures of my “gut” taken, I got up into a comfortable chair that was a cross between an examining table and lounge chair.  A special gel was placedon my stomach to protect me from frostbite and then the Coolsculpting machine suctioned part of my skin (well, let’s be truly honest, my fat) into the applicator.  I would have to remain relatively still for an hour.   I was thankful that the room was equipped with Roku and I watched Netflix for that hour and it made the time fly.   While the procedure felt very cold at first, that subsided after a short time and then I didn’t really feel anything because the area was numb.  My stomach was sore for a while, then it was a bit itchy, but now I don’t have any more after effects.

I will be very interested to see if any change is noted in my 60 day follow up appointment. I am trying to keep up on my end by continuing attendance at Bair Knuckle Strength. I am surprised and proud that I am continually increasing the weight that I am lifting during the workouts- its funny because Sarah, the instructor, doesn’t let us hide out; she watches closely.  She just knows when you are ready to go to the next level.   The great thing is that I feel stronger and better than I have in a few years- and I am sure it is because of these classes.  I will definitely miss these classes when my three months are over.

I also made my last visit to Skippack VillageDentistry.  They took some comparison pictures to show the progress on my teeth whitening program.   We were all happy with the progress I made.   Dr. Hunter also spent some time with me and checked my teeth to make sure I was tolerating the whitening and everything looked good.   Dr. Hunter and his staff were such a pleasure to work with.

I look forward to what is next!
