On Saturday, Sept. 9th, spend the beautiful fall morning at Collegeville’s sixth legendary Colossal Yard Sale! The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Waterworks Park on West First Ave. in Trappe, features close to 100 vendors, food, and a large playground area for kids.
Individuals who would like to sell at the yard sale can register at www.collegevilledevelopment.org. A 10-foot space costs $25. You must supply your own tables and chairs. The Yard Sale is laid out along tree-shaded paved paths, and sellers can drive their vehicles directly to their spaces. The Yard Sale is a great opportunity to clean out your garage, basement and closets as well as to pick up some new low cost finds from your neighbors!
The Yard Sale is handicapped accessible, and free parking for shoppers is available on the park’s large playing field.
“Last year our Yard Sale attracted over 3,000 shoppers,” says Collegeville Economic Development Corporation’s (CEDC) President Cathy Kernen. “All of our vendors and shoppers loved the shady surroundings, and shoppers walked away with hundreds of terrific bargains. This annual town yard sale has become one of our most popular events!”
In the event of rain, the Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017.
Proceeds from the Yard Sale benefit the non-profit CEDC, which works to promote businesses in the Collegeville area and organizes fun events for area families throughout the year.
