Susan Silberstein, keynote speaker from 11:00-12:00, nationally recognized lecturer on nutrition and cancer prevention, will share “Four Nutrition Secrets That Could Save Your Life” designed for people confused about fad diets who want to reach their ideal weight, increase their energy, slow down the aging process, and prevent disease. It is based on “Hungry for Health” her cookbook that contains 157 recipes that are healthful, simple to prepare, and taste really great.

When Silberstein’s husband passed away from cancer, it left her with two small babies and a broken heart, and she then was filled with the burning desire to make a difference. That was thirty-six years ago, after her young husband diagnosed with cancer was given just 12 months to live. After his untimely death, she established the Center for Advancement in Cancer Education, referred to as BeatCancer.org, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) federally approved charitable beat cancer 1organization, which began with the intent of helping at least one family to avoid the tragedy that her family had endured.

Today BeatCancer.org has counseled 30,000 cancer patients one-on-one, trained 50-60,000 prevention seekers, and provided continuing education for thousands of health care professionals, all on a shoe string budget often without being paid. Their mission is to provide research-based education on how to prevent, cope with, and beat cancer through diet, lifestyle, and other immune-boosting approaches.

Three years ago licensed chiropractor Dr. Sherri Zaffrin, who has been in practice for 26 years, discovered a neurofeedback biofeedback system for the brain that has been in practice for the past 40-50 years. It is a non-invasive, drug-free, holistic relaxing therapy done over a seven week period with a 70-80% success rate. Learn about her research-based methods that have gotten fantastic results for insomniacs, migraine sufferers, and children with ADHD and otherTEMPLE SINAI learning disabilities.
