New Year’s Eve is the party night of the year, but what about when bedtime is hours before the Big Ball Drop? Here’s a list of family-friendly events on December 31, so you can celebrate with your little ones and get them in bed on time.

Ardmore Music Hall New Year’s Eve Family Jam

Bring in the new year family style at The Ardmore Music Hall!

Ardmore Music Hall’s New Year’s Eve (Day) Family Jam features Alex & The Kaleidoscope and DJ Mighty Flipside spinning your favorite family jams. There will be a dance party, face painting, balloons, photo booth and more! $20 tickets in advance and $25 at the door.

Noon Year’s Eve at Upper Dublin Library

805 Loch Alsh Avenue, Fort Washington

11 a.m. to noon

Come and rock the morning away as you count down to noon! There will be stories, dancing and more. This event is fod kids ages 3 through 10 and their families.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Noon Year’s Eve Duplo Ball Drop

Plymouth Meeting Mall, 500 West Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting

Arrive before noon to celebrate with the annual LEGO Duplo Ball Drop! Grab a complimentary noise maker (while supplies last) and bring in the New Year with a glass of sparkling cider. Join the dance party with some of the 2019 mascots in the build challenge area. This is also the final day of Holiday Bricktacular. Purchase tickets online to guarantee entry.

Noon Year’s Eve at Highland’s Mansion and Gardens

7001 Sheaff Lane, Fort Washington

Dress up your children ages ten and under and bring them to a dance party with a special balloon drop at the stroke of 12 noon! Music, dancing, toys, cookies, bubbles and balloons to start the new year with lots of fun! Just $5 per child.

Midnight in Germany – New Year’s Eve at Workhorse Brewing Company

250 King Manor Drive, King of Prussia

Celebrate the New Year early with a kid-friendly party at Workhorse Brewing Company! The party goes from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a countdown to 6 p.m. (Midnight in Germany!) There will be live music, games and more! Bring the whole family, kids under 18 are free! Tickets are $74.95 and include all the beer you can drink and all-you-can-eat German fare with favorites such as Schweinbraten, German potato salad, Bavarian pretzels, Raclette fondue station, and a mac and cheese bar. Countdown to Noon at Peddler’s Village with Lolly and YoYo

11 a.m. to noon

Celebrate the last day of 2019 with a super fun SHOW inside at Giggleberry! Come play, dance, sing and countdown to NOON! This is a free event.

C is for Celebrate Fireworks at Sesame Place

100 Sesame Road, Langhorne

1 p.m. to 6 p.m. with fireworks at approximately 6:25 p.m.

Spend the day at Sesame Place enjoying A Very Furry Christmas, and then stick around for the New Year’s Eve Fireworks! The park is transformed into a Christmas wonderland with millions of twinkling lights, decorations, holiday-themed musical shows, special character meets and more. Please Touch Museum New Year’s Eve Countdown 2 Noon Event

Please Touch Museum, Avenue of the Republic, Philadelphia

9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

While not in Bucks County, Countdown2Noon is one of Please Touch Museum’s most popular annual events and worth the drive. With live music, a countdown performance, and a traditional New Year’s Eve ball drop, get into the party spirit and ring in the new year together! Activities include confetti bag decorating, make-your-own Mummer’s inspired outfit and parasol, storytime, songs, a performance by Avalon String Band, and more.

New Year’s Eve Splash at Adventure Aquarium

1 Riverside Drive, Camden

Open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Aquarium will stay open late for New Year’s Eve! Spend the day, and then head outside to the waterfront to watch the 6 p.m. fireworks over the Delaware River. Come enjoy your favorite animals and show off your moves during the special DJ Shell-ebration Dance Parties. Purchase tickets here.
