Interested in helping to keep babies healthy? The Breastfeeding Resource Center (BRC) celebrates its 10-year anniversary, and will be holding its’ Annual Fall Bash at MaGerks in Fort Washington (582 S Bethlehem Pike) on Friday October 18, 2013. Adults (21 and over) are invited to attend to come out and raise funds that will help babies and moms in the region. Guests will have the chance to win items such as tickets to the Philadelphia Art Museum, Please Touch Museum, autographed sports memorabilia, spa and beauty items, and many, many more great prizes. These may be won during both auction and raffles.
The BRC Fall Bash is scheduled 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm, tickets are $45, and can be purchased online at the BRC’s website www.breastfeedingresourcecenter.org or by calling the BRC at 215-886-2433. Tickets include dinner, drinks, and entertainment. The menu will feature MaGerk’s famous cheesesteaks and pulled pork sandwiches, pasta in marinara sauce, roasted potatoes, and mixed greens salad, drinks will be unlimited beer and wine (21 and over only please), and DJ Darren from Crowd Pleasers will provide entertainment.

About the BRC
For moms in the Philadelphia region who find themselves in need of breastfeeding support, the BRC is the leader they turn to for guidance, education, and expert clinical breastfeeding services. The BRC is a nonprofit organization that was established in 2003. Annually approximately 900 mothers are served, and at 6 months over 44% of moms
Programs offered by the BRC include one-on-one consultations with International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, back-to-work consultations, and weekly support groups. The center relies on grants, client donations, and fundraising events to help reach its financial goals and advances its mission of providing expert clinical and educational breastfeeding services.
