Briar Bush Nature Center Walk-Thru Event

When: Friday, September 11 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (During registration, you’ll be asked to sign up for a start time.)
Where: 1212 Edgehill Road, Abington

Missing Briar Bush and their Animal Ambassadors? Join the Briar Bush staff for a special social-distance walk through the preserve featuring some of your favorite Briar Bush resident animals. This event costs $20 for up to 4 people, $5 for each additional participant. (Group Size limited to 10.) Call Briar Bush Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to register. Masks are required for guests over the age of 3. Plus, Kona Ice of King of Prussia will be there selling treats. 20% of sales will be donated to Briar Bush.

Habitat Hike at Peter Wentz Farmstead

When: Saturday, September 12 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Where: 2030 Shearer Road, Lansdale

Every animal has a preferred place to live. Explore habitats and observe the animals that live there on a guided nature walk. Bring your own binoculars and wear sturdy shoes. This is a free event for ages 6 through adult. Call 610-584-5104 or email [email protected] to register.

Pottstown Cars and Coffee Presented by Deadly Fast Cars

When: Saturday, September 12 from 8 a.m. to noon
Where: Coventry Parlor at Laurel Locks, 653 Laurelwood Road, Pottstown

Lansdale Farmers Market

When: Saturday, September 12 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Where: Penndale Middle School, 400 Penn Street, Lansdale

Free Back to School Event at The Black Reserve Bookstore

When: Sunday, September 13 from noon to 5 p.m.
Where: 317 W. Main Street, Lansdale

Join The Black Reserve Bookstore for a FREE Back to School Event! They will be giving away free book bags filled with school supplies while supplies last. Attendees will approach a table to choose from a variety of backpacks and pick up a prepackaged snack and bottle of water. Plus, DevenaireStyles Unisex hair studio will be there giving free haircuts for boys and selected hairstyling for girls from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
