As we launch into an exciting new year, we’re thrilled to announce the start of the 4th Annual Montco Happening List competition! On January 4, 2016, nominations officially opened for all of the best Montgomery County people, places, businesses, and events. 
The MH staff has already received an enormous amount of nominations for categories which include best bartender, teacher, realtor, personal trainer, BYOB and more! With close to 200 options this year, you’ll literally find a category for just about everyone. As always, the results of the Happening List are 100% up to you, the very people who make this region such a special place to live. The contest has been heating up since voting began on January 15th! Readers can continue voting through February 29th at midnight. Please note that, for the majority of the contest, real-time updates of each nominees voting percentages will be visable. However, on Friday, February 16th, the Happening List results will “go blind” as the audit process begins. Each year we always like to stress that we take our job very seriously. Once all the votes are in, the Happenings Media team will perform a rigorous audit process to ensure a fair contest. Once the results are in, it’s time to celebrate! All the Happening List Winners & Finalists will be honored at a grand celebration later this year.
