Rocktoberfest

Things to do in Montgomery CountyRocktoberfest is a local car show and concert going on in Hatfield on October 1, 2011 at Sequoia Out Back In Snyder Square Shopping Center located at 1700 Cowpath Road. This is going to be a great event for both families and car lovers alike. Come out for amazing entertainment, great food, hayrides, pumpkin painting, scarecrow making, and much more!

International Gem and Jewelry Show

The King of Prussia Gem and Jewelry Show is one of the best exhibitions of gems, minerals and jewelry in the world. The show features one-of-a-kind jewelry creations, exotic gems, beads, pearls, exquisite fine jewelry, estate collections and much more. With over 150 booths, people of all ages will find deep discounts and an amazing variety of beautiful jewelry to compliment this winter’s fashions. The International Gem and Jewelry Show is going on Sunday, October 2nd, from 11am – 5pm at the Valley Forge Convention Center, located on 1160 First Avenue, King of Prussia, PA. If you’re in the market for a great piece of jewelry for your significant other, a family member, or even for yourself, this is the place to get it.

21st Annual Community Harvest Festival

The 21st Annual Cheltenham Community Harvest Festival promises fun for all ages with a lineup of exciting events on Saturday, October 15, (rain date Sunday, October 16). As always, the setting for the festival is beautiful Curtis Arboretum, located on Church Road and Greenwood Avenue in Wyncote. The fun starts at noon and wraps up after dark with a grand fireworks finale. Admission to the Community Harvest Festival is free, and plenty of on-site parking is available.

Bring the family out for:

  • Hayrides
  • A craft fair
  • Inflatable Amusements with a variety of bounces and other fun challenges for the kids
  • Wacky arcade-style games where youngsters win prizes
  • “Needle in the Haystack” dive for hidden treasure

  • Pumpkin decorating, sack races and other delights

Halloween Party

Are you ready to get dressed up for a great Halloween Party in Cheltenham, PA? On Friday, October 21st from 7:00pm – 8:30pm the Rowland Community Center located on Myrtle & Elms Avenues in Cheltenham is having a Halloween Party. Goblins of all ages can expect lots of spooky fun for the whole family. Admission is $3 per person.
