On January 1st, Montco Happening was honored to launch the beginning of it’s 3rd Annual Happening List Competition for Montgomery County! The yearly contest is our way of giving back to you, and to the area which we so lovingly call home. As proud residents, you already know how many amazing people, places, things and events are located within Montco’s borders. The Happening List is your opportunity to support them all!

Thanks to your nominations, and to the tens of thousands of votes casted, this years county wide competition has already helped put the spotlight on hundreds of deserving businesses, groups, charities, 
local figures and so much more. That’s exactly what makes this contest so unique, and that’s exactly why it was created. What we love best about The Happening List…..the results are entirely, 100% up to you. After all, it is because of you that we are proud to call this area home, and now it’s time to celebrate what Montgomery County is all about in true Red Carpet Fashion!

With less than one week left, the voting polls will officially close on 2/28/15, for Montco’s 2015 peoples choice contest. The team at Montco Happening is currently processing the thousands of votes through a rigorous auditing process. Once all votes are counted, we will stagger the results week by week until all finalists and winners have been announced in each of the eleven main categories. So what happens after the Bash you might ask? Simple, we celebrate and party in your honor! Montco Happening is happy to announce that this years Happening List Red Carpet Bash will once again be held at beautiful Flourtown Country Club on Thursday, May 7th from 7pm-midnight. Guests can expect to feel every bit the celebrity as they pull up to the exposed stone and red carpet entering one of Montco’s most happening venues. After walking the red carpet, attendees will be treated to some of Montco’s best food, music, entertainment and more. A cash bar will be available as well. This event will be an incredible way to network and meet some of our county’s finest small business owners, professionals, residents and entertainers. Finalists and Winners from the Happening List contest will be presented with their awards upon arrival and then encouraged to grab as many photo op’s as they’d like! As we said earlier, the Happening List contest is designed to promote everyone and everything that makes this county special, and the Bash is our way of not only celebrating their achievements but also giving our guests the chance to grow closer as a community.
