On Saturday, May 11th, First Niagara Bank presented three local Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies with a $125,000 check to support their one-to-one youth mentoring programs. The check presentation was a part of the non-profits’ annual day at Philadelphia Zoo presented by First Niagara for more than 200 mentors and mentees – dozens of which came from Montgomery County. The agencies benefitting from the donation are: Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern PA (serving Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley. Collectively, these agencies serve more than 3,500 children each year.
