The Montco Happening team stopped in to see what was cooking at Lochel’s Bakery this morning, and we did not leave empty handed! This family owned bakery has been satisfying our county’s sweet tooth for over 60 years now, and today was certainly no exception. Upon entering the doors of this favorite neighborhood shop, we found Owner Kathleen Lochel hard at work designing one of their specialty wedding cakes for a future bride to be. Their incredibly friendly staff were also preparing orders all while keeping their shelve’s shimmering with sugary snacks.
