A Taste of Mardi Gras in Montco!

Time for a Mardi Gras in Montgomery County! Our residents are formally invited to come out to Sunnybrook Ballroom in Pottstown on February 21st for a Mardi Gras Ball. This local event will treat guests to a wide variety of cajun style delicacies, live music, photos, and plenty of casino games for everyone to enjoy! Come experience what Mardi Gras is all about, without taking the road trip. Music for the night will be provided by the none other than The Barbone Street Jazz Band. All Mardi Gras go’ers are encouraged to dance the night away on Sunnybrook’s beautiful ballroom dance floor, and take your chances at going home with a gift basket and other specialty items being raffled off throughout the evening. A photo station with Mardi Gras props will be on hand to capture all the nights memories. Dress code for this event is casual, feel free to bring a mask! Proceeds from the nights events will help benefit the Sunnybrook Foundation.

Ticket prices for The Mardi Gras Ball include Cajun style hors’d oeuvres being served at 7pm, dessert to follow, a raffle ticket and $25 in gaming chips. This event will have a cash bar. About the Sunnybrook Foundation
Sunnybrook Foundation is a non-profit that has restored the world famous SunnyBrook Ballroom and now manages the splendid facility. SunnyBrook is the largest Pre-WWII Ballroom east of the Mississippi.and one of 16 still remaining. The home of the Big Bands for many years, has returned to that status again, our dance floor is one of the finest in the world. We also offer music events that span the decades from the 30’s to today. Our restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere for your dining pleasure, and Chummy’s Lounge is ready to serve your favorites in alcoholic beverages and a wide variety of craft beers. The Ballroom can handle anything from small corporate events to trade shows. We also enjoy helping Brides plan their special wedding day. We can comfortably seat 1500 people for a banquet.
