A beer drinkers paradise! That’s about the best way we can describe the 2015 King of Prussia Beerfest Royale. Now in its 4th year, the annual celebration of domestic, craft and international beers will bring thousands of our thirsty residents together for two days of hop filled fun, October 1st & 3rd 2015. On tap Saturday will be over 100 different beers provided by more than 50 local brewers! Naturally, the suds will be served alongside some of the best food our local area has to offer. Click here to view the ever growing list of local vendors. In addition to great food and beer, the festival will feature live music, entertainment, a designated drivers lounge and a ton of photo opportunities. For these reasons and more, the KOP Beerfest took home top honors in this years 2015 Happening List Contest for BEST Outdoor & Foodie Event in Montgomery County. Get ready to raise your glasses Montco, the largest beer festival in the Philadelphia region is back and bigger than ever!
Located in The Plaza at the King of Prussia Mall, the 2015 event is provided by the King of Prussia Business Improvement District, (KOP-BID). They have teamed up with Red Balloon Public Relations to bring our region a beer festival like no other. If you live in King of Prussia or have made a recent visit, you might have noticed the immense amount of change that has taken place within the community. All of these positive changes are thanks to the dedicated members of the KOP-BID. Their revitalization of our county’s favorite shopping hub can be seen through the emergence of new and exciting businesses, improved public transit, hosting community events and meticulous design in landscaping. They have always supported King of Prussia’s local businesses, helped improve the local economy and preserved the areas rich history and natural beauty. Proceeds from the Beerfest will go directly towards the KOP-BID, which in turn will go directly back into our community. So in essence, you’ll be drinking for a great local cause!
The beer and food spectacular kicks off Thursday, October 1st with “Donnerstag”. The epic Happy Hour event will run from 5:30pm-9pm and will feature specialty food and beer pairings, live music, specialty desserts and a cigar lounge. All of which will be enjoyed under the starts in King of Prussia! This event will provide a much more intimate look at the vendors and the beer that they will proudly be serving. If you are unable to make Saturday’s Beerfest, we definitely recommend attending Thursday’s Donnerstag!
The main event will take place on Saturday, October 3rd with the KOP Beerfest! The festival will offer both a morning and night session for our residents to attend. The Morning Session will take place from 12pm-3:30pm, and Night Session from 6pm-9:30pm. Both time slots will offer the same unlimited access to over 50 brewers and the liquid gold that they’ll be slinging all day long! There will be two tents with live music on two stages and an outdoor beer garden that will house delicious food (all for under $10) from local vendors and a traditional German band! All festival-goers will receive a KOP Beerfest Royale tasting mug for never ending beer samples during their session. Tickets for the event are $45 each ($55 at door) with designated driver tickets for $10. The Beerfest Royale would not be possible without the amazing support of its participating KOP Beerfest Sponsors.
