It isn’t the month of November without the annual Turkey Trots! If you’ve been thinking about signing up for a race, but aren’t looking for anything too serious, Turkey Trots are for you. Go at your own pace and soak up the crisp fall air before winter. It’s a fun and active way to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday on November 24 with friends, family, and the Montgomery County community! MIP Foundation Turkey Trot
When: Thanksgiving Day — November 24
Where: Fort Washington State Park

Help raise money for teens and young adults facing cancer by running in MIP’s 5k and Fun Walk this Thanksgiving Day! Registration is limited due to parking restrictions so plan as far in advance as possible. Register here or donate and fundraise for a team!

Toss Your Turkey 5k
When: Thanksgiving Day
Where: Montgomery County Community College
101 College Drive, Pottstown, Pa 19465
Forget the turkey for the time being and trot with your friends and family to kick off the holiday! Each participant will receive a bib to run along the course on College Drive and River Front Park. This race will also be held virtually for anyone to run the race from November 22 to November 29. Proceeds from the event will go to the Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities for feeding and sheltering the homeless and to Pottsgrove Athletics. Register here!
YMCA Gobble Wobble
When: Thanksgiving Day
Where: Abington Early Learning Center route

Join the YMCA on Thanksgiving for a 5k or 2-mile gobble wobble! The race begins at 9 a.m. back at the Abington route. Unable to make it to the race on Thanksgiving morning? No problem! Anyone is welcome to join the race virtually. Register here!

Run with Montgomery Township on Thanksgiving Day in the 8k, 5k, 2-mile fun run/walk, or the Gobble Gobble half-mile kids fun run. The races will take place in this order. It’s a fun morning for the whole family to take advantage on the holiday! Register here.

PW American Red Cross Club Turkey Trot
When: Sunday, November 20
Where: 201 East Germantown Pike, Colonial Drive – Victory Fields, Plymouth Meeting, Pa 19462
Register for the PW American Red Cross Club event and run to help them support victims of Hurricane Ian and for the club’s future endeavors. It’s their first annual Turkey Trot and they’re inviting you to join to make it a great one! Register for the 5k run/walk or the 1-mile walk here.
The Leftovers Run
When: Sunday, November 27
Where: Lower Perkiomen Valley Park
101 New Mill Road, Oaks, Pa 19403
Burn off your leftovers at The Leftovers Run for an in-person 4.1-mile run or a half marathon. Both races will start in Lower Perkiomen Valley Park, with the 4.1-mile course taking you on the Audubon Loop. The half marathon will weave through the SRT, Phoenixville, and then on the Audubon Loop. By signing up, you will help support The Daily Bread Community Food Pantry in Collegeville, Pa.
