Save the date! The Upper Merion Parks and Recreation Earth Day Festival is happening on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 10:30am to 1:30pm at Township Building Park in King of Prussia.
As the weather warms up, it’s time to get outside and enjoy all that Montgomery County has to offer. The Earth Day event will offer dozens of demos, vendors, & attractions for the whole family, including:

- The Stony Creek Anglers Exhibit
- Friends of Valley Forge revolutionary character and Hut Brigade demos
- Nor View Farms garden plants

- Riverbend Environmental Education Center with live marsh creatures

All of the fun will be set to live music and accompanied by a variety of tasty food vendors. Plus, visitors can sample and stock up on delicious local food and produce at the festival Farmers Market.
Kids are invited to submit an Earth Day-inspired poster by April 20th for the chance to win the Earth Day Poster Contest (see complete details below). Then, at the festival, kids can fly high in the Kite Decorating and Flying Contest. First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded!
