Calling all animal lovers…if you recently added a pet to your family, if you are considering adopting a furry friend or you just love spending time with critters of every sort, then The Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo in Oaks, PA is the place to be the weekend of Jan. 13-15th. The annual family pet show features educational and entertaining performances, special attractions, booths from pet adoption and rescue groups, and lots of vendors to supply your pet with all their food, play and exercise needs.

This year’s performances include the World of Dogs Program headlined by Gail Maribella and the Dynamite Dogs, an exciting Flyball Tournament, a rabbit hopping demonstration and Rainforest Reptile Shows. Pets of many kinds are represented at the expo, including exotic reptiles, birds, fish and bunnies. The Delco Bird Club will exhibit many of their beautiful birds and be on hand to answer questions.

If you’d like to bring your pet to the show they are very welcome but you need to sign a waiver prior to entering the doors. Waiver forms are available online at http://familypetshows.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Pet-Waiver.pdf or at the Expo Center. All pets must be well mannered, on a non-retractable leash or enclosed in a carrier and up-to-date with their vaccinations. No pets will be allowed into the show unless these conditions are met.

The Pet Expo will run all weekend at The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, in Oaks, PA just off the 422 expressway. Use 100 Station Ave., Phoenixville, PA 19460 if using a GPS and Google maps.
