Watch Descendants 3 in the Park for Free
When: Friday, July 17 approximately 7 p.m.
Where: 1 Parkside Place, North Wales
Free movies at the park are back in Upper Gwynedd Township! Bring the family out to enjoy the movie. Digz Dogs food truck will also be there.
Explore the World of Reptiles at the Oaks PA Reptile Expo
When: Saturday, July 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 100 Station Avenue, Oaks
Vendors from across the country will be selling quality live reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, supplies, cages and more. This event will be in Hall A, which is the biggest hall in the facility, offering plenty of space for social distancing. Please bring exact change ($10 per person) to pay cash at the door or purchase $8 online.
Support the Local Art Scene During Ales & Aesthetics: A Local Artist Showcase
When: Saturday, July 18 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: McAllister Brewing Company, 810 Dickerson Road, North Wales
15 local artists will be at McAllister Brewing Company to showcase their work. Grab a few cold ones and support the local art scene! There will also be live music starting at 4 p.m.
Enjoy a Free Concert in the Park
When: Sunday, July 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Univest Performance Center, 301 West Mill Street, Quakertown
The Dueling Pianos will be performing at this week’s free concert. Come out to hear energetic sing-along classics that will get everyone clapping and dancing! The Proper Brewing Company will be serving brews.
Learn About the Old West at Pennypacker Mills
When: Sunday, July 19 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 5 Haldeman Road, Schwenksville
Clap your hands and tap your toes along with Matthew Dodd! Dressed in period clothing, musician Matthew Dodd takes listeners back in time to feel what it was like to live in the Old West. Through songs of the time and anecdotes (humorous and poignant), Dodd evokes the feelings and passions of that pivotal a of American history. Dodd sings and plays acoustic guitar, harmonica, banjo and mandolin. Please bring your own chairs or blanket to enjoy this performance on the South lawn at Pennypacker Mills. Masks should be worn and household contact groups should practice social distancing.
