Paddleboards, canoes, boats with electric motors, and paddleboats are now available for rental at Green Lane Park through Green Lane Boat Rentals, Inc. Lake tours began Memorial Day weekend, offering park visitors a chance to enjoy a one-hour scenic cruise on the beautiful Green Lane Reservoir aboard a 12-passenger pontoon boat. The guided tour takes passengers around the 800 acre lake while offering insight on the interesting history of the lake and dam, as well as covering several nature-related topics.
Green Lane Park is a 3,400-acre recreational park owned and operated by Montgomery County’s Parks, Trails, and Historic Sites Division. The Green Lane Reservoir is owned and operated by Aqua PA. This regional attraction is a private/public partnership with Montgomery County, Green Lane Boat Rentals, Inc., and Aqua PA.
