The Vereinigung Erzgebirge (VE Club) announced today that their first annual BOOB-B-Q, Barbeque for Breast Cancer sponsored by Hatfield Quality Meats and Fat Jack’s BBQ will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 1 – 6 pm. This event will be held on the VE Club’s 60+ acres campus in Warminster.

This cooking competition will offer amateur cooking aficionados the opportunity to compete for various cash prizes. The majority of net proceeds raised at this event will benefit GILDA’S CLUB and THE ROSENFELD CANCER CENTER at Abington Memorial Hospital. Both organizations will be present to promote awareness and education for Breast Cancer.

 

FAMILY FUN ACTIVITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • An amateur BBQ competition
  • 5 – 6 year old in house soccer tournament
  • Breast Cancer Awarenessbbq 3
  • Games and events for children
  • The Phillie Phanatic
  • BBQ and other types of food and beverages
  • Live music from “The Peel School” and dancing

 

EVENT ENTRANCE FEE: $10 donation per person ages 12 and up.

  • Tickets for event are available in advance through the VE club or at the gate the day of the event. Event will be held Rain or Shine.
