The Santaland Diaries at Steel River Playhouse

When: Friday, December 28 at 8 p.m., Saturday, December 29 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday, December 30 at 3 p.m.

Keep the Christmas merriment going for one more weekend with this outrageously funny one-man play from popular humorist David Sedaris about the author’s experiences as an unemployed writer taking a job as an elf at Macy’s in New York. Written by David Sedaris, adapted for the stage by Joe Mantello, directed by Leena Devlin and starting Brian Rock. This how is recommended for ages 13 and up due to mature language and themes. KiDS! Series at The Ambler Theater – Paddington 2

When: Saturday, December 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Where: 108 E. Butler Avenue, Ambler

Take the kids to see a fun, feel-good movie on the big screen. Tickets are only $5 for adults, $3 for kids 15 and under and free for Members and their children.

Noon Year’s Eve Party at The Pottstown Carousel

When: Saturday, December 29 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Where: 30 W. King Street, Pottstown

Ring in the New Year a few days early with this family-friendly event. There will be crafts, treats, games, raffle prizes, and of course, carousel rides. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for kids and families for $25. Get more information here.
