Greenberg’s Great Train & Toy Show
When: Saturday and Sunday, January 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Avenue, Oaks
Greenberg’s Great Train & Toy Show is the largest and longest-running model train and collectible toy show in the country. The show is geared towards the general public and towards modelers and hobbyists, featuring hundreds of tables of trains and accessories for sale, huge operating exhibits, activities for kids, and more. This weekend’s event will feature over 350 tables of trains for sale and over 80 exhibitors from across the county. Adult tickets are $10 for Saturday (good both days) or $9 for Sunday only. Kids under 11 are free and do not need tickets.
Wellness Fair at Kimberton Whole Foods
When: Saturday, January 11 at 11 a.m.
Where: 222 E. Main Street, Collegeville
Visit Kimberton Whole Foods for an afternoon focused on health and wellness. Meet local health providers, sample goods from vendors, and enter to win raffles and giveaways from top wellness brands. The first 100 customers during the event will receive a reusable bag filled with samples.
Family Magic Show at Smoke & Mirrors Magic Theater
When: Saturday, January 11 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

A laugh-filled and amazing show of magic and comedy geared to audiences of all ages. Featuring a number of Philly’s favorite family entertainers like Mike Miller, Danny Archer, Mike Bonacci, Ari Paul, Mystique, and many more. TechGirlz.org Hosts Explore Python Programming Free Workshop
When: Saturday, January 11 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Microsoft Store King of Prussia Mall, 160 N. Gulph Road, King of Prussia
This free workshop is for middle school girls, grades 6-8.
Did you know that Disney, Netflix, Google and NASA, just to name a few, are all using Python? Python can be used for creating web applications, automation, programming robots and artificial intelligence. Python is the language of choice from beginners to experts.
Students will learn how to program using Python starting with simple data types, including numbers, letters and strings, and lists. Students will also explore comparisons, if-statements, and loops. Finally, students will use what they learned to create their own game.

Kids Night Out at Create Me Pottery Painting Studio
When: Saturday, January 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 2048 County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley
Drop the kids off for a night of fun! This event is $30 per painter and includes popcorn, juice box, cupcake, any $20 pottery piece, paint, glaze and firing. There will also be a movie playing while the kids paint!
An Evening of Tchaikovsky and Ravel with Marja Kaisla at Woodmere Art Museum
When: Saturday, January 11 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: 9201 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia
Virtuoso pianist Marja Kaisla opens Woodmere Art Museums’s classical season with Tchaikovsky’s beautiful piano cycle, The Seasons. It is a collection of twelve piano pieces, each one representing a month of the year. It will be followed by one of Ravel’s most personal compositions, Le Tombeau de Couperin, in which he inscribed each movement to the memory of one of his friends who had died in World War I. Born in Helsinki, Kaisla has performed extensively in Europe and the United States, having had her Carnegie Hall debut in 2005.
