Ambler Restaurant Week

Ambler Restaurant Week is happening now through January 28. Many Ambler-area restaurants will offer wonderful specials and prix-fix menus. There are over a dozen restaurants participating, ranging from casual to high-end, beverage pairing and BYOB, lunch or dinner. There’s something for everyone!

Designer Purse Bingo benefitting THON
When: Friday, January 25 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)
Where: Penn State Abington, Lares Building
1600 Woodland Road, Abington
Have fun with friends, support a great cause, and you could go home with a designer purse! This event is open to students and the general public. Must be 18 to attend. Outside food welcome, but alcohol is not permitted. There will be 10 rounds of BINGO, raffle baskets, 50/50 drawings and small finger foods. Admission is $35. Jurassic Quest is the largest and most realistic dinosaur event in North America. This year, it’s bigger than ever with more rides, dinosaurs and activities. Just a few of the features include: walking dinosaur rides, 30 new dinosaurs for over 80 dinosaurs in total, dino petting zoo and dino scooters for toddlers, fossil digs, and more. Painting with a Purpose: CHOP Pediatric Cancer
When: Sunday, January 27 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Painting With A Twist, 1240 Bridge Road (Route 113), Skippack
The Buggy Boo Crew is on a mission to end childhood cancer. The group is partnering with Painting With A Twist to raise money to support CHOP’s Oncology Unit for Pediatric Cancer. Your $40 seat includes a $5 donation, plus Painting With A Twist will donate 50% of the rest of the profits. The first half hour of the event is a “happy half hour” for socializing and raffles.
