Ardmore Restaurant Week
When: Now through July 28

Ardmore Restaurant Week is happening now! This popular event celebrates Downtown Ardmore’s exciting and diverse dining scene. This year, more than 20 restaurants will be participating – including six new spots! Diners can experience a variety of cuisines from the Main Line’s top chefs as they enjoy two-course lunch menus for $10 and $15, and three-course dinner menus for $15, $25 and $35. Trails on Tap: Royersford Riverfront Park
When: Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, July 20 from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, July 21 from noon to 10 p.m.
Where: 1st Avenue, Royersford
Trails on Tap brings a pop-up beer garden to different Montgomery County parks this summer. Stop by to relax in chairs and hammocks while enjoying beer from Mainstay Independent Brewery and delicious food. On Saturday and Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., you can try out a kayak from Take It Outdoors Adventures or ride a bike supplied by Riverbend Cycles. A portion of all proceeds from Trails on Tap will benefit the nonprofit Schuykill River Greenways and be reinvested toward protecting the river and expanding the Schuylkill River Trail.
Outdoor Movie Night, Christmas in July: Elf
When: Friday, July 19 at 8:30 p.m.
Where: Water Tower Square, 750 Montgomery Glen Drive, Lansdale
Celebrate Christmas in July by dressing in holiday attire and coming out to watch Elf! Bring a chair or blanket, and remember the snacks! This event will be held outdoors at the former Frank Theaters. Bring a new or gently used children’s book to donate to the Community Youth Foundation of Montgomery County.
Kids Series at The Ambler Theater: The Goonies
When: Saturday, July 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Where: 108 E. Butler Avenue, Ambler
Introduce your kids to this 80s favorite! Free for Members and only $5 for/$3 for non-member adults/kids.
18th Century Science Day
When: Saturday, July 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Pottsgrove Manor, 100 West King Street, Pottstown
Learn about science in Colonial America! Living historians will present hands-on activities in botany, medicine, electricity, surveying, astronomy and more. Plus, see history take flight with an 18th century style hot air balloon. This event is rain or shine and suitable for all ages. Suggested donation is $2 per person.
Sunday Evening Summer Concert Series
When: Sunday, July 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 580 Meetinghouse Road, Ambler
Held each Sunday evening on the campus of Temple University. The concert series is sponsored by the Upper Dublin Parks and Recreation. Free to the public. No pets allowed. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors to the Learning Center. This Sunday’s event features Dueling Pianos performing sing-along favorites from Billy Joel and Elton John.
