Holiday Tours at Historic Pennypacker Mills

When: Starting Tuesday, November 26. Tuesdays – Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

How did the Christmas holiday we celebrate today begin? Find out when you tour the Mills this Christmas season. From the ideas of a Christmas tree to mantles covered with greens, to plainly wrapped presents, and Santa himself…it all makes for a wonderful experience and time of year. Plan your visit today! The Museum Shop is stocked with unique, vintage ornaments, gift items, sweets, and toys.

Season’s Best Craft Festival

When: Friday, November 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, November 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Boyertown Middle School East, 20202 Big Road, Gilbertsville

This annual event features over 70 tables of handmade crafts.

12th Night Tours at Pottsgrove Manor

When: Friday, November 29 through Sunday, January 5 during normal museum hours
Where: 100 W. King Street, Pottstown

Uncover the origins of many holiday traditions alongside some forgotten favorites on guided tours of Pottsgrove Manor. The entire house will be transformed for the season, sharing the stories of both the endless preparations done by the household staff and the celebrations that the Potts family would have enjoyed. All ages. $2 suggested donation.

Ambler Holiday Tree Lighting

When: Friday, November 29 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: 131 Rosemary Avenue, Ambler

Join the community in the annual tree lighting on the front lawn at First Presbyterian Church of Ambler. The Wissahickon Middle School choir will be there to sing holiday tunes.

Skippack Village Lighting of the Christmas Tree

When: Friday, November 29 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Floral and Hardy Complex, 4007 Skippack Pike, Skippack

The Village will be aglow with candlelight as it is also the first Illuminaire Night. Luminaries line the sidewalks outside the stores and restaurants to light the way for shoppers and diners and to warmly welcome the start of the holiday season. Tree lighting festivities begin at 6pm in the Floral and Hardy Complex. Don’t miss this annual tradition in Skippack Village!

Royersford Annual Holiday Tree Lighting

When: Friday, November 29 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Main Street, Royersford

You don’t want to miss this year’s annual tree lighting! Starting at 6 p.m., head to the municipal lot (where the borough clock is located) for refreshments, crafts and a holiday selfie station. Make some reindeer food and write a letter to Santa to drop in the Santa Mailbox. Be sure to include your address because he writes back!

The Tree Lighting Planning Committee is excited to announce that Philly’s own Thanksgiving Day Parade Santa (America’s Favorite Santa!) will arrive at 7 p.m. for photos. Bring your camera!

Elf at The Ambler Theater

When: Saturday, November 30 from 10:30 a.m. to noon
Where: 108 E. Butler Avenue, Ambler

King of Prussia Town Center Winterfest

When: Saturdays, November 30 – December 21 from noon to 5 p.m.

Christmas at Colonial Gardens: Nights of Winter Lights

When: Saturday, November 30 through December 29 on Friday through Sunday, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: 745 Schuylkill Road, Phoenixville

Colonial Gardens Gift & Floral Shop is a beautiful spot to get into the holiday spirit. Admission includes unlimited walk-through of thousands of brilliant, beautiful dancing lights and familiar characters through the Gardens, a cup of hot chocolate or a candy cane, and ornament decorating for kids. Santa will be there for photos from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each night. Tickets can be purchased at the store during the event and cost $10 for adults, $8 for kids ages 3 through 11, and kids 2 and under are free.

Breakfast with Santa at Steel City Coffeehouse

When: Sunday, December 1 from 9 a.m. to noon
Where: 203 Bridge Street, Phoenixville

Enjoy a tasty breakfast or lunch along with holiday cheer! There will be arts & crafts, holiday cookie decorating and more. Bring a donation for PACS – Phoenixville Area Community Services and Chorus Photography will take your picture with Santa for free. Click here for a list of donation needs.

Mrs. Claus Comes to Town

When: Sunday, December 1 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Floral & Hardy, 4007 Skippack Pike, Skippack

Bring the kids for a visit with Mrs. Claus at Floral & Hardy! Enjoy a story, Santa’s favorite cookies, a craft, and more. Ages 3 and up. Dress for the weather – this event will be outside in a tent. This event is $15 per child. Register at this link
