Believe it or not … the holiday season is here! While you might not be ready to deck your halls quite yet, we’re already seeing festive events popping up. Light Up the Night at Willow Grove Park Mall

When: Friday, November 8 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 2500 Moreland Road, Willow Grove

Kickoff the holiday season at Willow Grove Mall. To unveil the mall’s spectacular new holiday décor, Santa will flip the switch to light up the magical “Tree Farm” made of over 120,000 lights. In partnership with the YMCA, magical characters will take center stage and dance along to musical recordings from the Trans-Siberian orchestra. Purchase a family portrait at the charming horse-drawn sleigh photo-op, then visit with Santa to share your holiday wishes. The first 200 children who pose for a photo with Santa will receive mugs and s’more kits.

Santa Arrives at King of Prussia Mall

When: Friday, November 8 at 10 a.m.
Where: 160 N. Gulph Road, King of Prussia

St. Joseph’s Holiday Craft Bazaar

When: Saturday, November 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: 16 S. Spring Garden Street, Ambler

Shop over 30 vendors offering handcrafted gifts and other items. Plus, there will be raffles and a bake sale offering a wide variety of homemade baked goods.

Hope Community Church Christmas Bazaar and Craft Show

When: Saturday, November 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: 2732 North Charlotte Street, Gilbertsville

Enjoy great vendors with fun holiday gifts, a flea market to benefit student ministries, food and baked goods, and more.

Conshohocken United Methodist Church Craft & Vendor Show

When: Saturday, November 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Sixth Avenue and Fayette Street, Conshohocken

The UMC Craft & Vendor Show will feature 33 vendors offering handmade crafts, jewelry, pottery, and holiday items. There will also be a bake sale, soup sale and raffle table.

Thanksgiving Pie Tasting at Lochel’s Bakery

When: Saturday, November 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: 57 S. York Road, Hatboro

Thinking about Thanksgiving pies? Stop by Lochel’s Bakery to sample several varieties suitable for the holidays. Enjoy a free cup of coffee with your pie. And if you place an order for a Thanksgiving pie during the event, you’ll also receive a free gift.

Spotted Lanternfly Egg Hunt

When: Saturday, November 9 from 10 a.m. to noon
Where: Pennypack Trails, meeting location TBA

November is the best time to control next year’s spotted lanternfly population by destroying their eggs.  Join Josh Bruce, the Trust’s Research and Restoration Coordinator, as he hunts for egg masses on trees and rocks along Pennypack’s trails.  Register here.

Mater Dei Catholic School’s Christmas Extravaganza Holiday Craft Show & Family Fun Event

When: Sunday, November 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: 428 South Main Street, North Wales

This annual Christmas Craft Fair will have something for everyone! Shop over 60 holiday artisans, crafters and gift vendors. In addition, there’s a children’s area with a Secret Santa Shoppe, café serving homemade breakfast and lunch, Sweet Shoppe with yummy treats and a huge raffle table.
