Upper Gwynedd Township Carnival

When: Now through Sunday, September 8; Thursday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 1 Parkside Place, North Wales

Rides, food and more! There will be fireworks on Friday and Saturday night around 9 p.m. The Fabulous Greaseband will be performing for free at the ampitheater on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Live Music and Petting Zoo at the Bounty Farm Market

When: Saturday, September 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Where: 3002 Cairnwood Drive, Bryn Athyn

Shop local products, enjoy live music by David Fiebert and The Martin Family, and let the kids enjoy the animals. Party Animal Express is bringing their petting zoo. Plus, Junkluggers Recycling Center will be collecting electronic waste all morning.

9th Annual Pottstown Pet Fair

When: Saturday, September 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Pottstown Memorial Park, 69 W. King Street, Pottstown

The Annual Pottstown Pet Fair has become one of the largest free pet fairs in the state of Pennsylvania! It’s a fun-filled day for the entire family, dedicated to the education, awareness and enjoyment of pets in our everyday lives. Featuring animal clinics, special presentations, adoptions, live animals, vendors and great local food.

29th Annual Wings N’ Wheels

When: Saturday, September 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Wings Field, 1501 Narcissa Road, Blue Bell

Wings and Wheels is a long-running outdoor community event, with a lively display of vintage and antique cars and aircraft. In addition to flight demonstrations and airplane rides, there will be crafts, a kids activity area, food, music and much more. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 10 and under. All proceeds raised go directly to supporting Angel Flight East’s mission of providing free flights to patients in need of medical treatment far from home. Purchase tickets here.

Weinrich’s Bakery 100 Year Anniversary Celebration

When: Saturday, September 7 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 55 Easton Road, Willow Grove

Weinrich’s Bakery is celebrating 100 years with a community event! Herman J. Weinrich will make opening remarks at 1 p.m., followed by awards and the singing of “Happy Birthday” and a cake cutting. Throughout the afternoon, there will be cupcake decorating, face painting, a pie-eating contest, a photo booth, prizes and more! Paul Big Bear will be performing live.
