Labor Day Celebrations in Montgomery County, PA

September Events Montgomery CountyLabor Day in Montgomery County is going to be a TON OF FUN! There are a bunch of fun local family events going on in the community. Whether you are looking for a cookout for the family to attend or you want more adventure, there’s sure to be something that fits your need going on. The Ambler YMCA is hosting a cookout. If you’re looking for one last shot at some fun in the sun, you and your friends can go tubing down the Delaware River this Labor Day weekend. Numerous towns within the area are having fireworks displays as well. Whatever you want to do, Montgomery County has something for you this Labor Day.

Go Baby Go! Expo

The Go Baby Go! Expo is coming to Montgomery County, PA on Sunday September 11th. 40 different baby product and service companies will be attending this fun Baby Expo in Hatfield, PA. New parents or those of you who are looking to start a family soon will find a lot of useful information and parenting materials at the Go Baby Go! Expo. Univest Grand Prix

The Univest Grand Prix is a two-day family festival held in historic Souderton and Doylestown. The festival consists of two spectacular pro biking races, races for children ages 3 to 13 combined with a children’s fun fair, and a special ride for the “weekend warriors” – recreational cyclists who want to test themselves on a true racecourse. Are you a “weekend warrior”?? You can also watch the racing live Saturday the 17th on WFMZ. Great locations and local food combined with the excitement of pro racing make the Univest Grand Prix one of the most entertaining weekends a family can find. What’s more, it’s free for all!

World War II Weekend – Graeme Park Horsham

History buff? Graeme Park in Horsham is hosting a World War II weekend. Reenactors from the 3rd and 35th Infantries, the 9th S.S. and the 110th Medical Battalion are participating in a weekend long encampment and demonstrations. Saturday’s activities will be capped off with a concert by the West Chester Swing Kings. The reenactment will take place Saturday, September 24th beginning at 10 am with the battle taking place at 2 pm and Sunday September 25 from 10 to 3. When the troops aren’t engaging, you may tour the camps, see period tanks and trucks, tour the historic Keith House, browse the sutlers’ booths and grab some lunch. The cost is $10 on Saturday (which includes the concert) and $6 on Sunday.
