Gaudeamus Music Ministry and Angel Flight East are joining together to present a refreshingly unique fundraising event – An Evening of Wine and Music on Saturday, October 25, at 7pm at Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School. Guests will enjoy wines from local favorite Karamoor Estate Winery, along with a delicious array of hors d’oeuvres. Gaudeamus will perform a concert featuring inspirational and light classical music. The evening will wrap up with coffee and dessert following the concert.
Tickets to this event can be purchased at the door for $75 per person or $125 per couple. Proceeds from the entire evening will help benefit local families seeking medical treatment for critically ill patients. Angel Flight East and Gaudeamus Music Ministry share a similar mission – a commitment to helping people, especially children, who are facing severe medical issues. For both local organizations, volunteers sharing a skill or talent are at the heart of the mission.
Gaudeamus is a Christian faith-based ensemble of professional musicians with a passion for sharing their God-given talents through concert performances and recordings. Proceeds generated from their musical endeavors are directed to organizations supporting the needy, with a primary focus on children’s medical needs and education. Angel Flight East (AFE), through an impressive network of volunteer private pilots, has been facilitating free air transportation for critically ill children and adults needing medical treatment far from home, and other humanitarian needs since 1992. Registered volunteer pilots use their own private aircraft to fly Angel Flight East missions throughout the Eastern region of the United States.
Funds raised at this event will help to continue the mission of these committed and passionate not-for-profit organizations.
