If you live in King of Prussia or have recently made a visit, you might have noticed the immense amount of change that has taken place within the community. All of these positive changes are thanks to the dedicated members of the KOP Business Improvement District, or KOP-BID. Their revitalization of our county’s favorite shopping hub can be seen through the emergence of new and exciting businesses, improved public transit, community events and meticulous design in landscaping. Thank to their efforts, the King of Prussia Business Improvement District has won multiple Happening List awards for their excellence in community involvement and support.
The KOP-BID has always supported King of Prussia’s local stores, and has helped improve the local economy while preserving the areas rich history and natural beauty. Whether it’s free summer concerts and yoga classes, improved commuter shuttles, a world class beer fest, or multiple restaurant weeks, the KOP-BID has not only brought positive effects to the King of Prussia community from within, but it has engaged the rest of our county to come support the thousands of businesses who reside there.
King of Prussia District (KOP-BID) is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit, special services organization that was created in 2010. KOP-BID engages public and private partners to collaboratively improve the economic environment in King of Prussia by making it more vibrant, attractive and prosperous. A list of the improvements they continue to work on includes; transportation, marketing and communications, land use and zoning, tax policies, and finance & budgets. Together with the help of the local community, KOP-BID is improving the quality of life in the King of Prussia region.
