Jenkintown’s David Arnold Hair Salon wants to thank everyone who came out for their “Fresh Cut for a Fresh Smile” cut-a-thon which was recently held in October. This local business was able to raise thousands of dollars with the community’s help by dedicating their entire day, staff and resources to cutting away the inches…all for a great cause! 100% of the proceeds from this event will now help benefit the Fresh Smiles Foundation.
The level of support from our community was amazing to say the least as over 70 new and returning clients packed the salon which helped raise over $2,000 in a 4 hour time frame. Benevolent hearts and minds were clearly represented by the owners, stylists and supporters. Even an 8 year old boy named Danny helped make a positive difference by selling hand made, rubber band loom bracelets which he sold for $2-$5 at the event, donating all proceeds as well! In addition, everyone in attendance was treated to food and cupcakes from local supporters, Our Family Cafe and Velvet Sky Bakery.
