On Wednesday, May 7th Pepperoncini Restaurant in Conshohocken will celebrate the Philadelphia Eagles’ legendary and beloved coach, Dick Vermeil with an intimate evening featuring Vermeil Wines from the Calistoga region of Napa Valley. The Wine Merchant’s David Greenstein will host the event and discuss the wine paired perfectly with Chef Paul DiBona’s four-course Italian inspired menu. The cost is $75 per person (plus tax and gratuity) and must be reserved in advance by calling 610-941-7783. OpenTable reservations will not be honored for this event. Limited seating is available.
“The event came to be after we hosted a private dinner with Coach Vermeil at Pepperoncini last week,” explains chef/owner Paul DiBona. “We shared many bottles of his Vermeil Wine that night and added them to our wine list for the spring.” “ We are hoping that the coach will surprise us with another visit on May 7th. But, not sure if his schedule will permit. Either way, it’ll be a fun night at Pepp’s.”
