Author and naturalist Scott Weidensaul will be presenting on the fall raptor migration that takes place in our own backyards! Visitors will be able to learn more about the saw-whet owl and its migration through the Appalachian Mountains. While the adults are listening in on Weidensaul’s lecture, kids will be participating in fun owl games and crafts! Families will join together at the end of the program for a saw-whet owl banding demonstration. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
