We love seeing Montgomery County come out of lockdown! Here are just a few suggestions of things to do this weekend. (Of course, we encourage you to make decisions that fit your family’s situation and follow safety guidelines.)

Enjoy Drive-Thru Carnival Treats and Support Lower Providence Fire Department

When: Thursday and Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m.
Where: Eagleville Carnival Grounds, enter from Mt. Kirk Avenue and exit onto Ridge Pike

Funnel cake, fried Oreos, french fries, cheese fries, corn dogs, slushies and more! This event is rain or shine, and since it’s drive thru, you won’t even need to exit your vehicle.

Drink Beer & Eat Burgers at Wake Coffee Roasters (a 2020 Happening List Finalist for Coffee)

When: Friday, June 12 from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Where: 133 S. Main Street, Ambler

It’s the first beer garden night at Wake with Ship Bottom Brewery. There will also be burgers by Chef Steven Waxman. Due to limitations, this will be limited to can pours. And there’s a 55 person limit at any given time.

Pick Strawberries at Maple Acres Farm in Plymouth Meeting

When: Daily starting at 8:30 a.m.
Where: 2656 Narcissa Road, Plymouth Meeting

Pick your own strawberries, visit the animals at the farm, and enjoy a tasty slushie! Bring a mask and follow guidelines that are posted.

Shop the Opening Day of the Horsham Farmers Market

When: Sundays, beginning June 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Horsham Township Community Center parking lot, 1025 Horsham Road

Parking is available behind the Township building. The entrance to the market is to the left of the Horsham Township Community Center and exit is on the right of the center.
