Wild Lights at Elmwood Park Zoo

When: Friday, November 22 through January 5 (select days) from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 1661 Harding Boulevard, Norristown

The Elmwood Park Zoo will be transformed into a winter wonderland with millions of lights illuminating the 16 acres. There will be animated installations, interactive elements and themed attractions. Take a stroll through Snowflake Central and be dazzled by Rainbow Runway. Catch the giant video show in the giraffe yard, and marvel at the decorations in the Wonder Way Christmas tree exhibit. 63rd Visitation BVM Christmas Bazaar

When: Friday, November 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday, November 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 190 N. Trooper Road, Trooper

The entire community is invited to this Parish tradition featuring the popular Festival of Trees. View beautifully decorated themed trees with raffles, plus vendors and crafters, kids games, a Secret Santa Shop, and more. Santa will arrive by fire truck on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Holiday Craft Workshop

When: Saturday, November 23 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Where: Green Lane Park, Stone Pavilion, 2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane

Join for one workshop or both! At 10 a.m., the class will focus on “Holiday Centerpieces.” The 1 pm. workshop topic is “Winsome Woodland Creatures.” Instructors will be available and happy to help. Classes are for ages 12 and up and cost $8 per person, per workshop.

Upper Darby Fall Greek Festival

When: Saturday, November 23 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, November 24 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: St. Demetrious Greek Orthodox Church, 229 Powell Lane, Upper Darby

If you’ve ever been to the popular Spring Greek Festival, this is a micro version to hold you over until next year! The Church’s Community Center will be full of authentic Greek food and pastries and lots of fun!

Chestnut Hill Circle of Trees Holiday Gathering

When: Saturday, November 23 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Where: Woodmere Art Museum, 9201 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia

Meet Santa and celebrate the beginning of the holiday season! Enjoy live music by the Norwood Fontbonne Note-ables, hot chocolate, cookies, and the opening of Woodmere’s holiday exhibition, Merry and Bright II: The Christmas Collection of Jeanette Turnbull, and there will also be a special Mummers Art Exhibit. Santa will arrive by antique fire truck, and then there will be a countdown to the lighting of the Museum and Christmas trees. This is a free event, but Chestnut Hill Hospital will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Salvation Army if you’d like to donate.

Crafts and Cheer at the Mill

When: Sunday, November 24 from noon to 4 p.m.
Where: Pennypack Mill, 18 Horsham Road, Hatboro

Going to this year’s Hatboro Christmas Parade? Dropping your kids off early to march in the parade but don’t know what to do until it starts? Always hate trying to find a place to park that’s close to the parade route? Need a warm place to hide out during the parade with clean, indoor bathrooms? Looking to shop early for Christmas for some handmade and one of a kind items that you can’t find in the mall? Want to purchase some delicious, made with love food and snacks to eat during the parade?

Germantown Academy Holiday Marketplace

When: Sunday, November 24 from noon to 4 p.m.
Where: 340 Morris Road, Fort Washington

Come out for a fun-filled afternoon of shopping! The marketplace will feature more than 60 vendors with a selection of apparel, accessories, jewelry and more.

Suloman’s Dairy Holiday Celebration

When: Saturday, November 23 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: 2782 Leidy Road, Gilbertsville

Suloman’s Dairy invites the community to their holiday celebration. There will be pony rides with Santa’s Helpers, a visit from Santa at 5 p.m., a tree lighting ceremony, refreshments and more.

59th Annual Hatboro Holiday Parade

When: Sunday, November 24 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: York Road, Hatboro

Kick off the holiday season in Hatboro with this favorite tradition! This year’s theme is “Santa’s Coming to Town.” This year’s parade is expected to have more than 100 units with 4,000-5,000 participants. It will include floats, high school marching bands, string bands, military units, youth and dance groups, fire and rescue units, scouts, community groups, public officials and more. The Phillie Phanatic will be on hand to lead the parade!
