“The perfect example of community members coming together for a greater cause.” Employees from Everence Financial Advisors in Souderton teamed up with the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), the relief and service agency of the Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches, to help with its 2014 Meat Canner efforts. For the last 65 years, the MCC Canner has produced meat that has been shared in the wake of war, extreme poverty, tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes, famine and other emergency situations – providing a vital source of protein for people worldwide.
