NAMIWalks

NAMIWalks is an active display of support for people impacted by mental health conditions in hopes of changing how society views people with a mental illness. The walk brings together members of the community to combat stigma, promote awareness and celebrate hope and recovery. Walk day will include plenty of free, family friendly activities for all ages: DJ music, sponsor tables, community resources, food trucks, live entertainment, face painting, motivational speakers, and much more! Lower Makefield Township Community Pool

The resort style Pool Complex includes four separate swimming pools, two water slides, lap lanes, and a high dive. A variety of memberships are available, and there are events planned throughout the season. Find details about membership here.

Philadelphia Master Gardener Plant Sale

Browse the selection of seedlings, native plants, and house plants for sale at Fairmount Park Horticulture Center. You’ll find many vegetables varieties, herbs, native plants, and pollinators. All plants have been carefully cultivated by Penn State Master Gardeners. Philadelphia Master Gardeners will also host garden tours, gardening workshops, and demonstrations throughout the day. Although many farmers’ markets are open all year round, springtime is when they really come to life. It’s the season we start seeing more fresh produce, flowers, eggs, and more. Farmers markets are great opportunities for you to chat with local farmers about what is grown locally and learn about nutrition benefits. Farmers Markets are great for picking up a variety of locally made goods. If you’re looking to pick up a batch of seasonal produce weekly, a CSA might be a better fit. Community Supported Agriculture works as a subscription, so you’re guaranteed the freshest local produce for a consistent low price. Justa Farm Cruise Nights

Come on out and bring your classic or antique cars to Cruise Night! Spend the evening hanging out and making some friends. Participants are asked to donated a nonperishable food item to the food bank.

Hatboro’s “Cruising the Boro”

When: May 19 at 6pm
Where: 120 S York Rd Ste 6, Hatboro, PA

The Hatboro Cruisers and The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce are working together on hosting the event to fill food pantries with much needed food for families and children. Participants are asked to bring a bag of non-perishable food for donation or a monetary donation. This is a drop in event with no registration.

26th Annual Ambler Auto Show

When: May 21 from 1-6pm
Where: Butler Ave, Ambler, PA

Owners of antique, classic and unique autos, trucks and motorcycles travel to Ambler to participate and display their vehicles along Butler Avenue through the center of the town. Charity Car Show Benefitting AKidAgain

The akidagain.org charity seeks to bring hope, happiness, and healing to children facing life-threatening illnesses and the car community wants to help. Car entries are $50 while spectator entries are $25. Entries include a visit to the Simeone Museum while displaying your car for the kids. 19th Annual American Heritage Credit Union Car Show

Electric Car Show and Earth Day Festival

The New Hope Solebury High School Environmental Club is hosting the first annual Earth Day Festival and EV Car Show! The event is free for spectators and $20 for show entries.

The festival will include food trucks, local environmentally friendly vendors, tables run by student clubs, and prizes for EV cars in various show categories.
