Country Night Hoedown in the Heart of Montgomery County

One wouldn’t think of the Jeffersonville Golf Club in Norristown as exuding a country-like atmosphere.  However, that won’t be the case on “Country Night.”  On Saturday, August 20^th from 7:00PM-2AM, the golf club at 2400 West Main Street, Norristown will transform into a traditional Western style hoedown.  For the event, the hottest country music will be provided by a live broadcast from Philadelphia’s own 92.5 XTU.  Also included is line dancing, mechanical bull rides, and freshly grilled BBQ.

For any of those who have never experienced an authentic hoedown, this is the best opportunity you will find in the Philadelphia region.  I visited a similar event once in Texas and can say that it was quite exciting, and that one didn’t even have a mechanical bull!  If you’re the typical Montgomery County, PA resident, chances are you don’t know how to do the Texas Two-Step or any type of country dancing for that matter.  Fortunately, line dancing instructions are part of this event, so everyone will be able to participate in the fun.
