It's Fur the Dogs: Home At Last Dog Rescue Fundraiser

All our residents and fellow dog lovers are invited to come out to PJ Whelihan’s in Blue Bell on Thursday, May 8th for the Home At Last Dog Rescue fundraiser! We already know that PJ’s has some of our areas best food & drink, and now you’ll be able to help give back to a local dog rescue by simply enjoying it. All you have to do help contribute is mention this fundraiser to your server from 5pm-10pm on May 8th, and a portion of the proceeds from your meal will go directly towards helping the pups.

The Home At Last Dog Rescue of North Wales has made it their mission to save the lives of homeless/helpless dogs by pulling them from shelters and offering them foster families until they find their much deserved, “forever home”. They provide a necessary alternative to the purchase of puppy mill and pet store dogs, thereby reducing the demand for, and ultimately, the supply of such dogs. The group of caring volunteers at Home At Last Dog Rescue are dedicated to matching each pup with the right family after the dog has been observed in a foster home. They are a group of volunteers whose goal is to save the lives of homeless dogs suffering in high-kill shelters, as well as owner-surrender dogs who need to be re-homed due to unfortunate circumstances. This not a shelter, and that’s exactly why we support them! In fact, they pull dogs from other various shelters and provide foster homes until they are adopted. As a growing rescue group, Home at Last Dog Rescue is always in need of volunteers who can assist in saving dogs. If you are able to provide a foster home for a four legged friend until they are adopted, please e-mail them directly for more information. Fostering is such a rewarding experience and is vital to their goal of placing rescued dogs into new permanent homes.
