Montgomery County’s Green Lane Park will hold a program entitled “Leave It to Beavers” on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 5:00pm.

The local beavers will be busy preparing for the winter months at this time. Join the staff at Green Lane Park for a closer look at these amazing rodents and their tree-cutting prowess. After a brief indoor program, participants will venture outside to observe an active beaver lodge. While a sighting cannot be guaranteed, an early fall evening offers a good chance of seeing beavers in the wild. Bring sturdy walking shoes and a sense of adventure (binoculars are helpful too).

This program is suitable for children ages five to adult and is offered free-of-charge. The program will meet in the stone pavilion in the Deep Creek Area of Green Lane Park located at 2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane, PA 18054. Spaces limited. Preregistration is required. Please call 215-234-4528 to reserve a space.
