With National Breast Cancer Awareness month right around the corner, Jefferson Outpatient imaging would like to remind all our local women, and yes even men, to stop in for a quick and easy mammogram this month. The team here understands that many women are apprehensive about getting a mammogram. Some possibly due to a negative experience they’ve had in the past, and others simply because they’d rather hear no news than bad news. Jefferson wants to put the utmost emphasis on the importance and simplicity of breast cancer screenings. The mammogram is as fast as it is painless, but if there is something to have cause for concern, most breast cancers are successfully treated if caught in their early stages! In an effort to help raise awareness on breast cancer health within our local community, Jefferson Outpatient Imaging has created, the “Hunt for Pink October”! The local scavenger hunt and fundraising contest was created to encourage women to take actions towards their own breast health.

Are you ready for the hunt! Jefferson Outpatient Imaging has teamed up with local businesses in the East Norriton area to help spread the message about breast health and the importance of early detection. Dr. Adam Zoga, Director of Musculoskeletal MRI’s in Center City and East Norriton has witnessed first hand the incredible progression of imaging technology over the past ten years. Not only is Dr. Zoga working on the forefront of this technology with his colleagues, but he’s bringing the same level of knowledge and thoroughness to his local patients as he does multi million dollar athletes. His expertise and eye for detail has been an integral part of the team of professionals at JOI. Dr. Zoga is joined by Donna Rigney (Director of Center Operations), Terri O’Keefe (Physician Liaison), Margaret Colarossi (Administrator), and Deb Geiger (Mammography Technologist).
