Holiday Donation Drive at Salon Esperanza in Ambler

Ambler’s own Salon Esperanza is now running a holiday donation drive to help benefit the over 50 teens that stay at St. Mary’s Villa. Salon owner Sharon O’Donnell wanted to use her business, staff and resources to help give back to the kids in our community, especially the ones who have been through some of the worst of what life has to offer. We know that with the help of our happening readers, we can provide these deserving kids the chance to have a happy holiday this year. Below is a list of items that the teens at St. Mary Villa have put on their wish lists this season, anything you can do to help will make a huge difference. All donations can be dropped off at the salon location in the Broad Axe Shopping Center by December 16th, check below for full details.

Wish List for St. Mary’s Villa in Ambler

• Donations of NEW bed sheets
• Blankets
• Male or Female socks
• Toiletries
• New Razors
• Toothbrushes
• Toothpaste
• Gift Cards (Target, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, etc.)
• Axe Body Spray (for the guys)
• Lotions & Body Sprays (for the ladies)
• Anything you think a teenager would enjoy!

*Salon Esperanza also has a “Giving Tree” set up inside the shop with tags of the kids who made a wish list this year. Everyone is encouraged to swing by the salon to grab a tag form the Tree. After purchasing the presents they can be dropped off at the salon (unwrapped), so that each teen gets exactly what they were hoping for this year. I know a lot of us drive by St. Mary’s Villa everyday wondering who lives behind the great stone walls. Well now that we know, let’s help make a positive difference in their lives this holiday season. All donations should be in by Dec. 16th, you’re help is much appreciated Montco!!!
