It’s the final weekend before Halloween, so it’s time to visit those pumpkin patches and fit in all that holiday fun! Here are our picks for Halloween events, plus more fun things to do in Montgomery County this weekend. Morris Arboretum Scarecrow Walk

When: Now through October 31, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Morris Arboretum, 100 E. Northwestern Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19118

Take a stroll along Oak Allée at the Morris Arboretum any day October 5 through Halloween to enjoy the more than 30 scarecrows lining the path. The display is part of the annual design contest with this year’s theme of  “Famous Musicians.” Come vote for your favorite. The Scarecrow Walk is free along with your paid admission to the arboretum.

Pretzel City Rod & Custom Car Show

When: Friday and Saturday, October 25-26 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, October 27 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Berkshire Mall, 1665 State Hill Road, Wyomissing

Vroom vroom! Don’t miss the Pretzel City Rod & Custom Car Show returning to the Berkshire Mall on Friday, October 25. Stop by to check out the line-up of hot rods and custom cars.

Boo at the Zoo

When: Saturday and Sunday, October 25 and 26 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Elmwood Park Zoo, 1661 Harding Blvd, Norristown

Explore the Elmwood Park Zoo in costume, collect treats at stations throughout the zoo, and enter the costume contest! This event is free with zoo admission. The zoo itself is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Trunk or Treat at Limerick Community Park

When: Saturday, October 26 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Limerick Community Park, 180 Swamp Pike, Royersford, PA 19468

Limerick Township Parks and Recreation will host a fun trick-or-treating event with local businesses and organizations.

Howloween 5K & Dog Walk

When: Saturday, October 26 from 7:30 am to 1 pm
Where: 1 Parkside Place Park, North Wales, PA 19454

This event benefits Home at Last Dog Rescue. It includes a 5K and 1-mile dog walk, pet/fitness related vendors, food trucks, dog activities and a costume contest. Dogs are welcome to attend all events.

The Witches of Narberth

When: Saturday, October 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: The corner of Forrest and Haverford Avenues, Narberth, PA 19072

Get ready to meet 13 of the scariest witches ever in Narberth during “The Witches of Narberth,” an annual community scavenger hunt. This free event begins at the corner of Forrest and Haverford Aves. and continues throughout the town. Find a witch and collect a Halloween treat. Finally, return to the start after finding all 13 to receive a special prize. Costumes are welcome! The hunt runs until 4 p.m. or when prizes run out.

Family Friendly Ghost Tour at Keefe-Mumbower Mill

When: Saturday, October 26 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Keefe-Mumbower Mill, located on Wissahickon Creek at Swedesford and Township Line Roads, North Wales

Don’t miss this slightly spooky but fun evening when old Henry Mumbower and his family revisit his Mill to see how it is operating today. Relax and roast marshmallows and enjoy some seasonal cider. Come early to paint your own pumpkin from 5 to 6 p.m. Event is free but donations are welcome.
