Wow another year coming to an end, time really flies doesn’t it? For many, News Year’s Eve provides the perfect opportunity to mingle with friends and over indulge in alcohol. Typically, the party crowd usually heads towards the city, some even up to the Big Apple. Although Philadelphia and New York do offer some impressive New Year’s celebrations, the traffic, aggressive crowds, and high prices sometimes make the trip not worth the aggravation.
Why not stay local this year? As we plan to stay in the area, we started looking around at what options there are for a Montgomery County New Year’s celebration. Reed’s (Blue Bell) – Split Decision and DJ Pete Rocks New Year’s Eve party. Tickets $30 in advance, $40 at the door (doors open at 4PM). Includes top shelf open bar 8-11PM, premium hors d’oeuvres buffet, party favors, and jager bomb (yes jager bomb) or champagne toast at midnight.
Brownies 23 East (Ardmore) – New Year’s Eve w/ Chico’s Vibe. Includes 4 hour open bar and food. Tickets $50 per person.
Trappe Tavern (Trappe) – New Year’s Eve with the band Evolution from 10PM-2AM. No tickets required.
P.J. Whelihan’s (Blue Bell) – New Year’s Eve Party 10PM-2AM. No tickets required.
Great American Pub (Conshohocken) – “We Hate New Year’s Eve Party” – Open for dinner during regular hours, then open until 2am.
Iron Abbey’s Gastro Pub (Horsham) – Crafted NYE menu with suggested beer pairings, seatings 5-9PM. DJ at 10 with 2 open rooms – free admission.
