As part of its ongoing redevelopment project, Montgomery Mall, owned by Simon, a global leader in retail real estate, announced today the opening of two new retailers at the North Wales location. The new openings are part of a progressive change that Montgomery Mall has been undergoing over the past couple of years in an effort to bring our residents the types of stores and merchandise they have been searching for.
J. Jill, a leading multichannel fashion retailer of women’s apparel, accessories and footwear recently opened its doors on the upper level of the center near Macy’s. J.Jill offers women a triad of easy, relaxed and inspired styles. In the newly developed north wing section of the mall, fast casual Mediterranean
restaurant Zoë’s Kitchen is making a splash, offering customers a healthy, flavorful menu that keeps guests’ dietary concerns in mind with its range of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.
These brands, along with newest retailers Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Clarks, Icing, New York Thread and Subway®, are the latest openings in a long list of new offerings to join Montgomery’s retail roster over the past several months. “It’s fantastic to kick off a new year with the opening of two more dynamic and in-demand brands at Montgomery Mall,” said Jack Fazio, Mall Manager. “Investing in the customer shopping and dining experience is at the heart of what we do, and these new additions to our tenant mix work to satisfy not only customer demands, but overarching trends within the market.”
New store openings at Montgomery Mall will continue in spring 2015, beginning with American shoe and apparel manufacturer Vans, followed by tween retailer Justice & Brothers and casual burger joint Grub Burger Bar in summer 2015. If that wasn’t enough to peak your interest, the White House Black Market will enter the tenant mix in 2016, offering women unique, individual collections of fabulous clothing and accessories in shades of white and ivory.
Over the past year, the mall has embarked on a multimillion-dollar renovation project, focusing on a redesigned exterior and entrances, refreshed retail spaces, a new escalator, a children’s play area, family restrooms and upgraded lighting and hardscape. The redevelopment project is scheduled for completion in late summer 2015 and will be marked with a grand re-opening celebration.
