The talented, seven-string virtuoso guitarist, Pete Smyser, accompanied by piano, bass, and drums, will present the music of Jerome Kern, “A Fine Romance,” first performed by this group at Moravian College. Jazz critics have compared Pete Smyser to some of the legendary American guitarists, such as Wes Montgomery and Jim Hall. Pete, who also teaches and composes in Harleysville, participated in the Artists’ Roster of Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour for a number of years.
