Skippack Village Carnival: Charming Skippack Village hosts their annual carnival this week through Saturday (starting at 5PM Thursday and Friday, 2PM Saturday). With amusements, games, and classic carnival food – the event is a perfect way for the whole family to spend a night this weekend. I personally am a big fan of the “Gold Fish Toss” game, but if carnival games aren’t your thing, restaurants and shopping are close by.
Lansdale Play In The Park – William Shakespeare’s “Richard III”: If you’ve never had the privilege to see a Shakespeare play, here is your chance! This Friday at 7:30PM, the Commonwealth Classic Theatre Company will present William Shakespeare’s “Richard III” at White’s Road Park in Lansdale. A little about Richard – he is a soldier, war hero, politician, and respected member of the community. With the goal of becoming King, he will do whatever it takes to make it happen.

Zern’s Farmer’s Market (Gilbertsville): “From plants to pants, socks to signage, weekly live auctions, antiques, tools and miscellaneous bric-a-brac,” they have it all. To find almost anything you could possibly need, stop by Zern’s Farmer’s Market in Gilbertsville this Friday from 2-10PM and Saturday 11AM-10PM. In addition to all the goods and produce sold, Zern’s offers a “look into the past,” as this area attraction has been in existence for almost a century. Check out our featured article for more on Zern’s Farmer’s Market.
Sixteen Candles – Keswick Theatre (Glenside): Visit the Keswick Theatre in Glenside this Saturday night for a FREE showing of the classic movie Sixteen Candles. Presented by 95.7 BEN FM, doors open at 6:30PM and show time is 8PM. This 1984 flick has withstood the test of time and is still a favorite of many to this day.
