Thomas Hanratty, lifelong resident of Hell’s Kitchen and once the most dangerous cab driver in New York City, was blinded eight years ago in a drunken accident and is fading into a routine of self pity and alcohol. When he is about to lose his only friend to a new life in Vermont, a volunteer reader from the Blind School is recruited in an attempt to break through Tom’s shell. The result is a battle of wills and wits that proves beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder and reminds us that our eyes can sometimes get in the way of our seeing.

THE SPINNERS

An Evening of the Classic Motown Hits you Know & Love!

Keswick Theater

FEB 6 • 8:00PM

The Spinners are the greatest soul group of the early ’70s, creating a body of work that defined the lush, seductive sound of Philly soul. Most often thought of as a Motown recording act, the classic group sound of legendary R&B recording artists, The Spinners has never lost its universal appeal. Throughout the years they have sold millions of records and topped both the Pop and R&B charts with smash hits like “I’ll Be Around” and “Then Came You.” Today, original member Henry Fambrough is joined onstage by lead singer Charlton Washington, high tenor Marvin Taylor, tenor Ronnie Moss, and bass singer Jessie Peck; a soul-infused 5-piece band, led by Keith Ferguson, backs them up.

To all the fellow beer geeks out there, the Doghouse is hosting a very unique event the first Saturday in February! Have you ever tested your palate by doing a blind tasting?

They’ve came up with a very interesting event, which leaves you in the dark of what your drinking.

See who provides the best beer among the 3 Suppliers.

To do this, there will be a blind tasting of 3 major styles of beer;
Belgian Quads, Imperial IPA’s & Barrel Aged Beers.

*Limited Tickets available for purchase

A ticket to this event will get you 9 samples of the Epic Beers selected. You will be the deciding factor of who wins the Epic Blind Tasting Event. Blind samples will be served in 3 waves.
1. Imperial IPA’s
2. Belgian Quads
3. Barrel Aged Beers.

Each wave the 3 different beers will be labeled A, B and C. You will be in the dark of which Supplier and what Brewery you are drinking. Voting is based on what is your favorite, second favorite and least favorite. At the end of each wave the 3 beers you have sampled will be announced and explained by each Sales Rep. that is present.

This is a perfect chance to get your UnTappd distincts! These beers will be “epic” and coming straight from the Suppliers vault. Each Supplier wants to be known for supplying the best beer! Feel free to email us with any questions or stop by and talk it over here at the store!
