SoulJoel’s 1st Annual Summer Comedy Fest

When: Now through Sunday, August 16
Where: Soul Joel’s Comedy Club & Lounge, 155 Railroad Plaza, Royersford

Soul Joel’s is hosting their first summer comedy fest at their new ampitheater, outback of the comedy club. This is a socially distant, outdoor event. Bring your own chairs, tents, drinks and food! Tickets are $20. There are different performers just about every night. Dave Attell closes out the festival on Sunday, August 16. Purchase tickets and find out more HERE.

Wetlands Discovery Hike

When: Saturday, August 15 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Peter Wentz Farmstead, 2030 Shearer Road, Lansdale

Discover all the different types of wetlands: stream, bogs, swamps, and more. Take a hike to look at a wetlands, while exploring the animals and plants that call them home. Wear sturdy walking shoes. Limited space available, ages 6+. This event is free but you must call 610-584-5104 or email rblacketter@montcopa.org to register. Meet at pavilion adjacent to parking lot.

Yoga for Change

When: Sunday, August 16 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Where: Ambler Yards, 300 Brookside Avenue, Ambler

Experience a 1-hour yoga class for all levels. 100% of the proceeds will go toward “We Rise” – a college scholarship fun for under-served African American students at Wissahickon High School (where the instructor teaches). BYO mask and mat. You can remove your mask when you are on your mat.

Barnyard Fun at Sandy Hill Farm

When: Sunday, August 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Where: 1918 Sandy Hill Road, Plymouth Meeting

Bring the kids out to enjoy a petting zoo, pony ride and hayride. $30 per child. Must pay cash.

Family BINGO at Moss Mill Brewing Company

When: Sunday, August 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: 109 Pike Circle, Huntingdon Valley

On the 3rd Sunday of the month, Moss Mill Brewing Co. hosts Family Bingo with proceeds going to charity. Bingo Cards are $5 each of 3 for $10.
