Food Truck Craze Family Fun Night at Plymouth Meeting Metroplex

When: Friday, May 10 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the annual Battle of the Schools from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: 2250 Chemical Road, Plymouth Meeting

Cradles to Crayons Philadelphia and The Goldenberg Group are excited to host the 6th Annual Metroplex May Day Product Collection in the Target parking lot at the Plymouth Meeting Metroplex. Attendees are encouraged to donate new and like new clothing and other childhood essentials for local children living in poverty. Join from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. for the annual Battle of the Schools! Stay for free family fun from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with live entertainment, games, activities, and Food Truck Craze food trucks! Clothing donations from the general public will be accepted until  7 p.m. Food Trucks scheduled to be onsite include: House of Cupcakes, The Chilly Banana, The Pizza Wagon Catering Company, Dump-N-Roll, Cotton’s Place, Philly Goodfellas and Curbside Creamery.

Native Plant Sale at Peter Wentz Farmstead

When: Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 2030 Shearer Road, Lansdale

The Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy (PWC) is hosting a Native Plant Sale. Native plants use less water, require less work, and provide year-round interest AND benefit to wildlife. The Sale will feature expert advice from PWC staff. A large variety of native vines, ferns, shrubs, trees, flowers, and grasses will be available for sale. Park in the main lot for the Farmstead, then follow the signs to the sale location.

Skippack Spring Fest

When: Saturday and Sunday, May 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Skippack Pike, Skippack

Join the community for a weekend of crafts, family entertainment, food and more!

Willow Grove Park Mall Mother’s Day Health & Wellness Event

When: Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: 2500 W. Moreland Road, Willow Grove

Come out for a day of vendor shopping, raffles, family fun and Mother’s Day specials!

Mother’s Day Fairy Garden Workshop

When: Saturday, May 11 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Wentz Run Park Concession Pavilion, 1000 Anvil Lane, Blue Bell

This is a great program for mother and child to enjoy nature together to create a fairy garden with nature materials, plantings, and accessories! Bring anything special you would like to include on your creation, along with gardening gloves, shears, and a box to take your project home. All other materials provided! $30 for residents / $35 for non-residents (only register your child – not yourself!) Price includes one fairy garden per parent/child duo. Register here.
