Are you ready for a great 4th of July weekend? Whether you’re planning a few day trips in Montgomery County or taking the family to see fireworks, the weather should be absolutely beautiful for you. I can’t remember if we had nice weather last year, but what I do remember is that a few years back we had a long stint of rained-out holiday weekends. It feels good to check the weather forecast for Montgomery County and see pretty much nothing but sunshine with the chance of a few scattered thunderstorms on Sunday. <– This is me… not worried.
It’s going to be a great weekend and it starts in just a few hours!
As you can see from the image above, today is going to be gorgeous with a high of 83 degrees and ZERO chance of rain. Tomorrow is going to be even warmer with just a 10% chance of rain. The way things have been going this summer, I’m putting my money on no rain tomorrow. Even though I’m glad 4th of July weekend is going to be nice, I have to say that my garden is really hurting from the lack of rain this summer. Anyway, those scattered showers I wrote about earlier are rolling through on Sunday, but even then, it’s only a 40% chance. July Fourth is going to be very nice with a high of 86 degrees and only a 10% chance of rain. AND for those of you who are going to milk this 4th of July holiday for all that it’s worth, and are taking off from work on Tuesday as well, it looks like the best day of them all with Sun all day and ZERO chance of rain!
So, since the weather is going to be gorgeous all weekend, hopefully everyone is going to get outside and do something fun. There are a TON of great 4th of July events going on in Montgomery County this year. Our 4th of July Guide has them all listed out for you. I’m planning on hitting up First Friday in Skippack or Lansdale tonight with Shannon. Tomorrow we might venture over to Peddler’s Village for their 4th of July festivities, complete with fireworks at the end of the night. Sunday and Monday will probably be spent relaxing with friends and family. I think our niece is going to be in town, so we are looking forward to seeing her as well! It should be a great weekend.
